Tournament Prep in Full Swing!
Could there be any better way of spending an afternoon than by joining us in playing 18 holes on a championship golf course located on a breathtaking barrier island enveloped by water, mangrove forests and lush tropical foliage? Crandon Golf Key Biscayne is the place to be Thursday, October 2, 2008, for the Annual Junior League of Miami Golf Tournament.
For the fifth consecutive year, The Junior League of Miami is taking over the course – this year for a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Players will be challenged to stay focused, no small feat when considering the distractions of the roving Mojito cart or the screams of excitement by the player who wins a car in the Williamson Cadillac Hummer Hole-In-One contest!
Following the competition, the players will return to The Links restaurant to enjoy a cocktail reception hosted by Rums of Puerto Rico as well as a light buffet. Guests and League members are invited to join the reception for the awards ceremony and celebration.
The Golf Committee is currently searching for monetary and in-kind sponsorships. If you have any suggestions for individuals, companies or organizations to approach for sponsorships, please contact us as soon as possible. Our sponsor levels range from “Ace Sponsor” at a donation of $10,000 to a “Par” Sponsor at $1,000. Sponsor benefits vary with value of sponsorship. We are also collecting raffle items and golf-related goodie bag items.
