Summer 2007
Dear Prospective Junior League of Miami member:
We are pleased to inform you that our Board of Directors has approved your application for membership into the 2006-07 Provisional Class of the Junior League of Miami, Inc.
You have chosen to become a member of a wonderful group of women who share their time and talent to make this a better community. Over the next year, we will share with you what the Junior League of Miami stands for, teach you about the needs of our community and how we work to address these needs and improve our Community. We look forward to getting to know all of you as a promising provisional class and as individuals.
Please watch for an evite for a Provisional Ice Cream social at JLM Headquarters, 713 Biltmore Way in Coral Gables, on July 11, 2006 beginning at 7:00 p.m. This social is a great way to meet your fellow new provisionals and actives in our league.
Our first formal event is planned for September 16, 2006, Coral Gables Country Club. This is a mandatory orientation called “Super Saturday.” Please save the date. We will be sending you follow up information throughout the summer.
Membership requires the payment of provisional dues. In order for your information and picture to appear in our 2006-07 Directory, please remit your provisional dues payment of $240 ($140 dues plus $100 provisional fee) no later than June 30 2006. You may pay online. You may also mail your check payable to: Junior League of Miami, Inc. to: JLM Headquarters, 713 Biltmore Way, Coral Gables, Florida 33134. Please note “provisional dues payment” on the check.
