1971-1972: Pamela Baker Johnson, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop
- Community Projects: $9,457 for Edison Little River teacher's salary, produced T.V. show "Peter Pan", gave $8,000 for the Miami River Restoration, Lignum Vitae Key film, Cuban Oral History included in Pioneer Voices and "Drugs Are Like That" film: trained volunteers for Dade Schools, commercial spots donated to Wometco Theatres and gave $21,109 to Community Trust Fund
1972-1973: Carrel Power Youmans, President
- Fundraising Projects: First Designers' Show House and Encore Shop
- Community Projects: Historical Association of South Florida research room, $5,600 finishes "Ours is a Tropic Land" history of Miami film and guide, T.V. show "Everglades: Water System in Peril", Miami Restoration "Banks Are Beautiful" project and Court Advocate Program
1973-1974: Claire Middlebrooks Eldredge, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop and Designers' Show House Boutique and Garden Sale
- Community Projects: Community Resource Volunteer Guide project, Court Advocate Program and produced film on Specific Learning Disabilities
- Major Milestones: Encore Shop Expands, "Ours is a Tropic Land" film receives certificate of commendation from American Association for State and Local History
1974-1975: Carol Wallace Brawner, President *
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop quota: $48
- Community Projects: Produced film "That Weird Classical Stuff", Court Advocate Program receives LEAA Grant from Dade County, $7,000 for Community Resource Volunteer Guide and $20,000 for the Historical Association Research Library
- Major Milestones: Headquarters and Encore Shop move to Parker Art Building in Coral Gables
1975-1976: Priscilla Moss Greenfield, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop nets $25,756 and Designers' Show House nets $32,000
- Community Projects: Court Advocate Program receives additional LEAA Grant and is turned over to community, $3,500 given to Community Resource Volunteer Guide, Co-sponsored Florida Quality of Life Conference, Co-sponsored A Play for Living, "The Inner Ti ger", Dade County Council of Arts and Sciences and $20,000 given for interior capital equipment for Coral Gables House
1976-1977: Marilyn Mayes Hicks, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop nets $26,135
- Community Projects: Statewide Center for Children and Youth, Co-sponsor of the Parent Resource Center and gave $6,000 per year for three years, gave $3,000 and volunteers to the After School House and completed $17,500 commitment to the Community Resource Volunteer Guide Project
- Major Milestones: 50th Anniversary, Governor's Award for the Arts given for Arts Council and "That Weird Classical Stuff" receives Emmy from the Miami Chapter of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Ohio State University Award
1977-1978: Lane Haase Convey, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop nets $29,327 and Designers' Show House
- Community Projects: $10,000 given to the Arts Council, $6,000 to the Parent Resource Center, $500 matching funds for the Center for Children and Youth, $500 "Save Our Alamo", sponsor performance for Florida's children, state supplemental appropriation for the Arts, Dade Cultural Center, Historical Association of Southern Florida and Dade County Library
- Major Milestones: Recipient of the Ann Spears Stover Award from Mental Health Association and honored Mrs. Frances Bennett retirement from the Encore Shop in its 45th year
1978-1979: Nancy Lomax Leslie, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop nets $37,000 and Designers' Show House nets $39,000
- Community Projects: $10,000 contributed to the Dade County Council of Arts and Sciences, $6,000 to the Parent Resource Center, $10,000 matching foundation grants for "Ours is a Tropic Land" sequel and $500 to the No Casinos Committee, $300 matching fund s for the Florida Center for Children and Youth, a Crisis Nursery within the Comprehensive Child Protection Program and a Public Education Task Force
1979-1980: Garlin Wood Lewis, President
- Fundraising Projects: Encore Shop nets $37,600 and Designers' Show House
- Community Projects: Parent Resource Center, funded $6,000 statewide conference on Public Education, donated $10,000 Dade County Council of Arts and Sciences, SPAC, $5,000 support for Human Resources Project in Public Schools and $10,000 Dunsbaugh Grant and $10,000 appropriated for film, "Miami, The Magic City",
- Major Milestones: Nancy Lomax Mank Leslie elected AJL Director from Area III and League adopts substantial changes in membership practices, including optional non-secret procedures
