The Junior League of Miami celebrated 25 years of supporting survivors of domestic violence during its 11th annual Miami Magic gala event on October 18 at the Newman Alumni Center at the University of Miami. The event raised funds to support the Junior League’s own Inn Transition North and Inn Transition South transitional housing facilities for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Miami Magic kept up its reputation as one of the hottest tickets of the charity gala season, as the cocktail party and sit-down dinner featured magic acts, live music by the University of Miami Frost School of Music, dancing, a silent auction, and raffle with fabulous prize packages headlined by a 7-day Caribbean getaway on Royal Caribbean International.
