ABOUT

JLM President, Executive Vice President and VP of Fund Development alongside the Co-Chairs at the 25th Annual Women Who Make a Difference gala on April 24, 2026 at The Rusty Pelican.
Each spring, the Junior League of Miami (JLM) hosts Women Who Make a Difference (WWMD), our signature event recognizing outstanding women whose leadership, volunteerism, and service have made a lasting impact throughout our community. Honorees exemplify the League’s mission of developing the potential of women, promoting volunteerism, and improving communities. At least one honoree is a Junior League of Miami Sustaining Member.
Proceeds from WWMD support the Junior League of Miami’s community programs serving women and children at risk. JLM’s current focus is reducing food insecurity through initiatives such as Inn Transition, Done in a Day, and Uplift Literacy, while also providing college scholarships and community grants to local nonprofit organizations.
For more than 100 years, the Junior League of Miami has united women leaders to address the evolving needs of our community through volunteer service, leadership development, and philanthropy. The League’s work is made possible through the generosity of our members, sponsors, foundations, corporate partners, and donors, whose support helps create lasting change throughout South Florida.
